RETURNS

Can I return an item?

You have 30 days in which to return all or part of your order. Please do not contact the Customer Service Department before doing so as no authorisation is required. Simply follow these instructions:

1- Complete the red self-adhesive label attached to your order and affix to the parcel;
2- Include the unwashed, unworn item(s) with their original labels and in perfectly resalable condition;
3- Complete the returns table (enclosed in your parcel) and place the slip inside the parcel (do not cut it out);
4- Return the parcel via the carrier of your choice, ideally with tracked service. You will be liable for the cost of returning the goods*:

*In the event that you should receive a faulty product or of an error in the preparation of your order, please inform the Customer Service Department beforehand and send your proof of return postage costs as an email attachment to serviceclients@chevignon.fr (photo or scan) to receive a refund. DO NOT ENCLOSE PROOF OF RETURN IN THE PARCEL.

Once the returned goods are received at the warehouse and found to be compliant a refund will be issued (see terms outlined under 'REFUNDS', below).

In the case of exchanges, please read the paragraph entitled 'EXCHANGES', below.

 

Am I liable for the cost of returning the goods?

Not if there has been an error on our part in the processing of the order or if the product is faulty, in which cases the cost will be reimbursed once you have provided evidence of the costs incurred to serviceclients@chevignon.fr.

In all other cases (if you are simply not happy with the product or wish to exchange it for another style, colour or size), you are liable for the cost of returning the goods to our warehouse. With this in mind, we would recommend that you use a tracked method since Chevignon cannot be held responsible in the event of any incidents that might occur.

 

REFUNDS

How long does it take to get a refund and what method will be used?

The amount to be refunded will be credited to the debit or credit card used to make the original purchase within a maximum of 30 days.

Please note that the average time frame for receiving a refund is around three weeks from the time you return the parcel to us.

 

EXCHANGES

The product/colour/size is unsuitable. What should I do?

Exchanges are not available. We would recommend that you place a new order and return your original item in accordance with the 1st step and refer to the paragraph entitled 'RETURNS', above, to return your parcel.

 

PAYMENT

Is payment secure?

All payments submitted via www.chevignon.eu comply with strict security regulations thanks to our partner Ingenico, which guarantees data confidentiality and secure transactions whilst limiting the risks of fraud, giving you complete peace of mind when it comes to placing your order.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payment by Carte Bleue, Visa or Mastercard. Once the payment has been made, the corresponding bank account will be debited 3 clear days after the transaction is completed.

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to accept any other method of payment (cheque, cash on delivery, PayPal, American Express, bank transfer or any other method).

Can I pay in instalments?

It is not currently possible to pay in instalments. We are considering the possibility of introducing this option and will update you in due time should it be introduced.

 

I am unable to complete my payment / I lost my connection during the payment process / I am redirected to another website during the payment process

If your bank card has this option, you may be automatically redirected to your bank's website in order to complete an additional stage. This is normal - don't worry!

This additional stage is designed to verify the identity of the cardholder and thus limit the risk of fraud. This standard, known as 3D Secure, is becoming commonplace among all online retailers, as well as in the banking sector (not only at www.chevignon.eu). This being the case, if you have not yet created your account on your bank's website when making other purchases online you will need to follow the instructions issued by your bank (you may need to contact them should you encounter any problems). You will then receive a code by SMS to your mobile phone that you will need to enter on the page.

N.B.: If you take too long to enter this code you may be automatically disconnected for security purposes and the transaction consequently cancelled. The same applies if you fail to enter the correct code after several attempts. We would therefore recommend that you have your mobile phone to hand. Please note that once you have created your account you should not have to do it again for any future online purchases, regardless of the website you are buying from. Please contact your bank's Customer Services Department should you encounter any problems with their website.

 

DELIVERY

How much is the delivery charge?

Delivery is free for orders of €/£150 or over.

There are 2 types of delivery available:

- Standard delivery (5-6 working days): £7.50, free for orders over €150

- Express delivery (3 working days): £15

 

What is the delivery time frame?

All orders placed before 5pm are likely to be delivered within 3-6 working days, the average being 72 hours. However, it is possible for any unforeseen circumstances that might occur to increase this time frame, particularly during promotional periods (Christmas, sales, etc.).

 

ORDER TRACKING

I haven't received an order confirmation. What should I do?

Every time an order is successfully placed an email will be sent to the email address provided during the purchasing process. If you do not receive anything, please check your spam/junk mail folder and ensure that your inbox is not full. It might also be that there was an error with your email address when you placed your order. If you are still unable to locate the email, please contact our Customer Services Department to check whether or not your order has actually been successfully placed.

Where is my parcel / What is happening with my order?

Once your order has been registered you will receive an order confirmation email with your purchase order attached. You will then receive a second email when your order is dispatched, containing a link that will enable you to track your parcel.

 

PRODUCT QUALITY

For all products purchased in store, please return the goods to the store in question or call them to discuss your request. In the event that you fail to obtain a satisfactory response, please email serviceclients@chevignon.fr.


PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Is my product in stock?

To check whether an item is in stock, add it to your basket; if the confirmation window appears, the product is available in stock and you can therefore place your order. If this does not happen, the item is unavailable. N.B.: adding an item to your basket does not enable you to reserve the item.

What should I do if my product is out of stock?

Please email our Customer Services Department at serviceclients@chevignon.fr to find out whether the product is permanently or temporarily out of stock.

In any case, we would recommend that you check the site regularly and view the rest of the collection at www.chevignon.eu to check for similar products.

How do I add a product to my basket?

Once you are on the product page you will be required to select a colour and a size (even if the product is only available in one size, as is the case with leather goods and certain accessories, for example) before adding your item to your basket. Please note that the desired size must be highlighted in black when you click.

Please note that you may amend the quantities you wish to order from the basket page; you do not need to click the 'Add to basket' button several times. To check whether your item has been added to your basket simply click the 'My Basket' button in the top right-hand corner of the page.

 

SIZE INFORMATION

Where can I find the size guide?

You will find a Vérifiez votre taille ('Check your size') link on each product page. Click this link to view the corresponding male/female sizes for each product family. Use the scroll wheel on your mouse or the scroll bar on the right of the window that has opened to scroll down through the size guide.

Are the sizes based on French or American standards?

Please refer to the size guide and description of each product for this information. Denim products are generally available only in American sizes, other trousers in French sizes.

What are the benefits of subscribing to the newsletter?

By entering your email address on the homepage you will receive exclusive invitations to private events, special sales and other promotions organised by Chevignon and its selected partners. We will not 'spam' your inbox with untimely messages, as other companies do.
